Heroine Melinda Gordon (Jennifer Love Hewitt, Party of Five) has a unique ability - she can communicate with spirits that have remained in the living world. Melinda uses this blessing (or is it a curse?) to help ghosts resolve their unfinished business and move on to the next realm.

The Complete Second Series features a stellar supporting cast. Newcomers Dr. Rick Payne (Jay Mohr, Jerry Maguire), a Professor who studies the occult, and estate agent Delia Banks (Camryn Manheim, The Practice), are both introduced to Melinda's unconventional talent and aid the ghost whisperer as she dabbles with the afterlife. Jim, (David Conrad, Miss Match) Melinda's husband is more hesitant to accept her talent however, and is becoming increasingly concerned about the emotional toll that this work is having on their new marriage...

The GHOST WHISPERER series is inspired in part by the work of famed medium James Van Praagh and Mary Ann Winkowski, a real-life spirit communicator. The second series box-set includes a series of "webisodes" giving insight to earthbound spirit, Zach, who is trying to uncover the mystery surrounding his death. Never-seen-before bonus features, commentaries and behind-the-scenes features take you deeper into the evolution of the show.
